Chizik is the right place at the right time coach. In fact before the season started they doubted Newton and most of the staff wanted Trotter to play.
They had a let's give them both a chance attitude, Cam's play just never let them put trotter in the game.

It's pretty obvous to all of us that Chiz is a better coach.

The irony in this thread is that the fact that you so eloquently point out (that Chizik won a NC sooner than Saban)is one of the many reasons that people around the country believe your program to be the dirtiest in college football right now. The assumption that everyone would be working under is that Saban is better than Chizik. The question then naturally arises, how was Chizik able to do this so quickly at Auburn? You will find out soon enough just exactly how that occurred.

If newton is a 'one man team' why even field the other 10 players on offense? I can't believe this train of thought is still going on after the MNC / BCS game last night. Do you even know who Dyer or Adams are? Auburn's offense is not a one man team. Granted the O is much better with newton, don't over look the other decent players on the team.

No one has ever won a NC in NCAA football, it is mythical. Normally you would just dismiss me as being an Auburn fan with no MNC to claim. I post this now (right after the BCS victory) so you know that my story on the MNC hasn't changed the day after the game.

If Auburn wants to stop being little brother, then stop writing these type articles. Silly to always compare everthing with Alabama. There's one thing you can't compare.... Bama has ever had such mean players that played so dirty on one team. You are the champions of that for sure. Dirty play! Cam Newton and Gus Malzahn won a championship at Auburn. Chizik hasnt done anything yet. Get back to us in two seasons.

I have said it before I will say it again no one outside of Auburn believes chizik is a great coach. His legacy will be created now that Cam is gone and it will really begin once Malzahn is gone. As of right now it is just a perfect storm of folks with a chip on their shoulder.

According to the expertise of this board, Chizik is supposed to be like 4-20 in his tenure at Auburn now. At least according to this board two years ago. Come to think of it, any day now he's supposed to be fired for our incredibly awful teams he's fielded.
