Here's a hint, versus 'coaching'...

Now it should make more sense.

I've been saying this all along. You can't fire a coach this quickly after one bad year. He won the 'ship for fricks sake.

Cam isn't the coach.

I think that is a given... we are just debating the year, I say 2012 is the end of his career, who would hire him? 3-9, 2-10, 1-7 without Malzahn

Would he have won it without Newton though?

Why does this question keep being asked? This has to be the most asinine question ever. What does it matter? Meyer won championship with Tebow, none without him. Any coach has to have good players to win...name me one that can when without good players.

Well will also have the Mocha Nightare back, so it is a wash.

To illustrate a point?

3-9
2-10
8-5
14-0
8-5
1-7, so far.

Spot the anomaly.

I think that ship has sailed. If Chizik and Co. are back, it's gonna be Wallace and JJ battling it out. No fricking way those two waterheads (KF/CM)get another shot.

With his buyout, this year WILL be the end of his career.

So Auburn didn't need Malzahn as the OC, or Nick Fairley as a defensive beast, Michael Dyer, or a senior OL? So if Cam was on Auburn 1-7 team right now, would they be undefeated? That's basically what you are saying is "All Auburn need is Cam and they would go undefeated every year no matter who is the supporting cast or what the offensive scheme is". That's just plain stupid. If Cam was there in 2011, they probably would have still went 8-5.

Exactly. Then there is the public perception that Newton was bought. It all comes full circle when we question how good is chizik. It's just my opinion. People don't have to agree with my opinions. I'm just putting it out there. Butt hurt auburn fans gonna be butt hurt I guess. Auburn just hasn't been the physically dominant program other than 2010. It was a 1 hit wonder. Dont see Chizik as the answer. That's it. Whiteout Newton they would have went 8-5 with a chick fil a bowl win.

Come on man! I thought Auburn grads were smart?

Deductive reasoning, my friend. That's all you need to use to understand this question.

Myer might not have won the crystal without Tebow, but he still would have been successful at Florida.

You can't say the same for Chiz.

That's the point people are making about Cam/Chiz combo.

I won't believe until Lowder gets caught in an embarrassing situation securing a replacement before firing the sitting coach. Just like last time an embattled coach got to stay. Its the Auburn way. #allin
