Please please please hire Chip. He will fail so monumentally in the SEC. That's whom I am rooting for.

The culture change going from Booch to OCD nutjob Kelly would be hilarious

I remember reading about how at Oregon his assistants all had to tape their ankles to avoid injury due to the pace of his practices lol

He's no more OCD than Dooley and his shower etiquette among many other things. The difference is he wins.

Zero chance it's Stoops, unless you're referring to the one in Lexington (still lightyears better than Butch).

Only way he even considers coming out of retirement is if one of the few bluebloods comes calling with a huge mound of cash, and thats only if he's been out of it for at least a few years and realizes he misses it.

UT may be a top 15ish program historically speaking, but we're talking top 3-5 to get Stoops to even pick up the phone. Why would he settle for anything less when he could have his pick, should he even choose to get back in?

I really want Kelly to be the UT coach. He doesn't like to recruit and his offense is starting to get figured out as defenses adjust. That offense will gain yards but how many national titles did he win while dominating the west coast for those four seasons that he was there?

he came pretty damn close to winning it.

Chip Kelly at Tennessee = Nick Saban at Alabama

Anyone who thinks Chip Kelly isn't a great college coach doesn't know anything about football. Also, Chip Kelly had more success in the NFL than Nick Saban (for anyone that would bring up his shortcomings in the NFL as proof why he won't succeed in the SEC).

Chip Kelly is the only coach available that can turn Tennessee back into a dominant program. Just like Nick Saban was the only coach in 2006 that could turn Alabama back into a dominant program.

This absolutely must happen. Jim Bob is the greatest name ever for a football coach from East Tennessee. CJBC in 2018!
