He looks thinner. Getting out of BR will probably add 10 years to his life..

I noticed that, too. His wife has reportedly said he is much happier, even begun jogging around our beautiful campus.

Good to see him enjoying his new home, hitting the recruiting trail in a way he never has before.

This is the same thing he did at LSU. Get back to us in February and let's see how much recruiting trail he's seen.

Fact is he is not a bulldog recruiter. He's a good coach, but at the end of the day he was easily behind Miles, Raymond, Henry, Brick, and Wilson at LSU with regards to recruiting and it wasn't because he was in a less motivational environment.

Good for him. It's just not good for the ticker to constantly deal with stress like that.

I'd imagine this thread isn't going as well as you thought it would.

Sources say he is embracing recruiting due to being in a more motivational environment.

When he got to A&M he informed Sumlin that he really didn't like to recruit.

Then a funny thing happened, he watched all of the game-film on the Aggie defense this year and came out of his office in a cold sweat declaring that he has decided he was now highly motivated to start recruiting.

He has been losing weight ever since.

I'll take our new recruiters any day.... They haven't stopped yet and wait until next year!!! These guys want to be here @ LSU. One of the best college jobs in the nation. If he wasn't happy here good luck.

Yeah the stress of having recruits at your front and back door, not having one other big time college in your area to beat out and having top 10 defenses year in and out?? T A&M will give the man a heart attach if he couldn't hack it in BR. He now has to build something out of nothing and recruit with Texas, LSU, Baylor, Oklahoma, and TCU. Not to mention the small schools like Rice, SMU, ect. At least he will have a high flying Offense that wants to put his defense on the field ASAP!!! When LSU did that is when his D struggled mightily, and now he has one of the best lol. Coach O is gonna run circles around this man! Defenses attitude and aggressiveness mimics their coaches and LSUs D has done just that the last few years.
