I'm sure there are many others. But it's nice to see this event being successful every year. They do a really nice job hosting it too. It's practically a Bowl Game to start the season. Looking forward to seeing other teams in the future. I think Bama and Tennessee are slated for the SEC in the future. (Could be wrong).

Bama gets it the first year the Mercedes stadium opens up I believe. Extremely jealous.

I guess I'm ignorant on how this is calculated. How did they determine that?

Don't really know other than the allotment of tickets was sold out and the website states that it was the first. I am just as lost as you, haha.

Funniest part is the UL fans hoping for a fraction of what AU will bring. There will be twice as many AU fans.

Even better that they think the tickets they sold through their website were going to UL fans.

AU ticket office was even telling people to go to UL's website

“To sell over 30,000 tickets to a neutral site game in September is a great testament to our terrific fan base and their willingness to support our program at any location,” Vice-President/Director of Athletics Tom Jurich said.

I wish there was a stat to show how many Auburn fans went to their site to buy tickets. They will be sad when they only have 12,000 show up.

I still love that Oregon game percentage (National Championship). Nobody thought Auburn fans would travel all the way across the country to Arizona...but we dominated (largely) the attendance at that game. Oregon fans were baffled.

They were also weird as hell. Their idea of trash talk was going around saying roll tide.

They are rather odd. They still think they won that game for some reason. I remember watching a blog a couple of days after we beat them where they were making fun of Auburn while stating that we were a horrible team and just not as good as they thought we would be.

We had just beat those frickers for a National Championship! Yet, they thought they were the better team. I don't know what else we could have done.
