I think this is just another piece of evidence that points to the fact that Saban is way overrated as a coach.

Well, to be fair - he's not responsible for Evan Mathis, DeMeco Ryans or Roman Harper.

That's a bunch of good players.

I don't suppose you could do this for all the schools.

It would be difficult because ESPN's list isn't updated with newly signed players and newly retired/released players. Anything I could come up with would probably look a lot like the list posted above by the LSU poster.

I got my list from an article posted on a Bama website.

Here's what is most impressive about that link:

19 Kentucky Wildcats
-------
18 TCU Horned Frogs
15 Iowa State Cyclones
15 Texas Tech Red Raiders
10 Kansas Jayhawks

Kentucky is 14th and dead last of the SEC schools, yet they're ahead of 4/10 Big12 programs. Vandy (with 21) would rank 5th in the Big12.

The amount of talent in this league is simply staggering....

I'm SO glad the Saints got rid of Roman Harper. His last two years were horrible. It was like playing 10 versus 11.

Mark Ingram hasn't lived up to a fraction of the hype and/or value of the draft picks we gave up for him. At least he's not a bust like Trent Richardson.

Sunseri may stick for a few years as a Special Teams player but likely won't see much time on defense.

The Saints need to look at LBs from Alabama & DBs from LSU.

Or the Saints could evaluate players by the talents on the field as opposed to the college they went to

I think that's something SEC fans have a hard time doing...
