Y'know, statistically, Bama's D prior to the first game of the season was better than Bama's D today; they hadn't allowed a single point or yard.

At this point in the season a better sampling should also include the offensive strength progression (weekly) of the teams you place in juxtaposition to each other.

That doesn't fit your narrative though does it?

Enjoy Auburn's win from this past Saturday. It was indeed - epic.

This is a classic example of what another Auburn fan tried to lecture me about "cherry picking" stats. So rather than "cherry pick", let's look at more of the defensive stats.

TFL:

13. Alabama
T42. Auburn

Team Sacks:

1. Alabama
T42. Auburn

Fumbles Recovered:

T8. Alabama
T41. Auburn

Defensive TDs:

1. Alabama
Auburn? DNQ...minimum of 2 required.

Run defense:

1. Alabama
30. Auburn

Passes intercepted:

T31. Alabama
T98. Auburn

Do you have a link to these, and do they have individuals as well?

You realize we've been called for holding this year twice as many times as our opponents, right?

Well I was thinking that it's because you run the ball right into Alabama's strengths and have an inability to exploit Alabama's weakness in the secondary but hey if you want to blame the tin foil hat stuff

go for it

Beastly pass rushes like Auburn's and Bama's don't get the holding calls just out of fairness, if they did there would be holding almost every play. That being said I wouldn't be surprised if there are no holds called on either side.

And that's still not half the number of times it should be called.

Bama's D has scored as many TDs as it has allowed this year. They've basically made points by the opposition a zero sum gain. The only way to be better than that is to score MORE points than you've given up. Can anyone make that claim?

i am utterly shocked that there are teams below us.

I don't understand why, as you've played most of them.

#88 LA Tech
#96 TAMU
#107 Ole Miss
#123 Texas State
FCS#97 Alcorn State

No wonder you thought your offense was so good.
