I’m struggling to see how going 16-15 in the last 31 matchups against a self proclaimed “blue blood” in tu is humiliating.

I do see how losing to Kansas at home in front of an empty stadium except for all of your biggest recruits is humiliating. I can also see how having 5 losing seasons since 2009 is humiliating.

If you want to go back to the dawn of time we can. But the same people who claim a championship in 1939 is irrelevant want to claim their wins back then as relevant. So which is it?

It's humiliating to go back to 1980 because that's the only time frame you look remotely competitive (and still don't have a winning record )

Sure. Not our best, no question. At least we're not hiding behind Kansas due to an inferiority complex to the school that rejected your college application (and owned you across all sports for a lifetime).

There are a lot of people in this country who are either ignorant to history or flat out hate it.

It's a very "liberal" opinion to blatantly disregard history.

Speaking of, too bad y'all were scared to lose to A&M the last ten years.

Living in the past and ignoring you haven't been relevant for a while now
Having more money and being the reigning best athletic department in the country sure seems irrelevant...

But that was announced in like June or July, so I guess it has been "a while now"

It's about damn time someone other than Stanford won it. We've finished 2nd 5 times.

I'm sure fans from both schools remember games before the modern era of college football.

Even though neither Arky or Texas had black players until the 70s?

Your own school put out a press release for finishing 19th in the same competition

Y’all have so much money that you have to buy foot locker mannequins, nerf footballs, and sculptures that look like caricatures?

Edit: Also, peep the “hook ‘em heat map”. Looks pretty sparsely populated!

I understand that's a confusing set of photos because one of them has a championship trophy. I understand the confusion coming from an aggie fan

The only category Texas has on OU. Michigan also leads Ohio State, and, well, you know.

Well both played the last game in 69 before integration. The 60s was a transitional decade where the sport exploded in popularity.

I think starting the "modern" era before integration (considering that blacks make up a majority of players) is wrong.

OU and Texas both have the same amount of wins (928). Pretty crazy.
