The last time FSU had a losing season was 1976. That was Bobby Bowden's first year. Don't worry in a couple decades you will catch up. Since I wasn't even born yet, can you guys tell me what it is like to not go to a bowl game?

In fact, LSU has had winning seasons and gone to a bowl game in 17 of the last 19 seasons, winning 12 of those 17 bowl games.
Of the 5 bowl losses, only the 2002 Cotton Bowl loss vs Texas and the Jan 2012 BCSNCG loss to Bama were not winnable.
The other 3 losses were won in the final seconds by LSU's opponenets (2004 Capital One vs Iowa, 2009 vs Penn State, and 2012 Peach vs Clemson.)

By the way, the team with the 2nd longest streak of non-losing seasons is SC. Our last was in 2003.
