No shite. The title says favorite team.

Don't be stupid. What he was inferring is clear.

There's a thread now postulating that people who are Alabama fans are better than fans of other teams. A couple weeks ago there was a thread asking why you would be a fan of any team other than Alabama.

You like them better than the football team?

In 4 of LSU's 6 national championship years, we also had winning seasons and went to bowl games in football.
Including in 1997 when we beat some other team in both. 27-0 in football and 13-6 in the College baseball national championship game.

So yeah, that year I'll say I liked them equally.

In those 6 national title years, we also went to 4 basketball NCAA tourneys, including an Elite 8 in 2000, and we had umpteen track national championships.

Any other questions, comments, or embarrassments?

I know its a shock to your kind, but yes. Football is not everything to everyone. A lot of programs have found it possible to have success in more than one arena.

Baseball was, is, and will always be my favorite at LSU. As a kid growing up, playing baseball in Louisiana, LSU baseball was it.

Greendale High ski team in the mid-80's was unstoppable. We had Roy Stalin and Lane Mayer. Roy could totally ski the K-12 slope and Lane even did it on one ski. He had a really boss black Camaro too. The local paper boy was killed in a tragic skiing accident too now that memory serves. Boy that whole town loved skiing!

I don't root for any of the Tennessee professional teams, never have.

I mean, I kinda wanted the Titans to be successful at first because of Shuler, but after he was done, I stopped caring about them.
