in, I heard that USC"S starting qb is out for the year, and I just don't see anybody beating Washington on their schedule. aTm needs to hope for an upset in Pac12 Championship game. If Washington gets the Pac 12 Championship, they will jump aTm. I believe aTm would be undefeated with that schedule. I think Auburn and Bama would be as well. But it doesn't matter what any of us think, just the people on that committee.

It's fine, but they have essentially no shot at the playoff barring a collapse from Alabama.

In, absolutely. They have a strong schedule with their only loss coming to the undisputed (at least undisputed by people without an axe to grind) #1 team in the country. And, yeah, Washington is undefeated, but it's the first ranking. Thing will sort themselves out and either Washington runs the table and stakes a claim to top 4 or...they don't. Doesn't make TAMU any less deserving.

I figure that if the top 5 all run the table, TAMU likely gets replaced by Washington because they wouldn't have a conference championship game while Washington would.

no way. 33-14 final score, and should've been worse. the #4 team would've been competitive.
