What you see touching the plate is the catchers foot. keep going forward

Lol. How the frick do you turn a foot that way?

Even still it defies physics.

You think the tag came down faster than the hand reaching home plate?

Ok. More explainable thing is the runner either has a hinge joint in the middle of his forearm or a compound fracture since his arm would be at an angle if that was his glove on the plate.

That's why they call them ath-u-leets. They can do stuff the average co-Ed softball star can't.

Didn't see the game. Didn't see the play. Don't care who won or lost. But unless a rift opened in the earth, it's hard to see how that runner was tagged out before he touched home plate. Based on this photo, I'd agree with the OP, he's safe!!!

But the umpires and subsequently the replay officials did. Sooo he's out.

he slid directly into the catchers foot, his hand pops up and doesnt touch home until he gets his hand back down on the middle of the plate. Catcher had already swiped him before he got his hand back down

I provided a still shot.

We're supposed to rely on what you "saw".

Ok.

yea a blurred still shot that shows nothing. that is the back of the catchers foot touching the plate. Did you see the replay they showed on tv?

It's okay, bro!

Umps miss the call all the time.

This is how MSU and LSU play baseball. Go back to your probation/ death penalty threads!

We wouldn't have it any other way!

What is the name of the medical condition that causes the left arm to be 18 inches longer than the right arm on that runner?

No way his hand is on the plate in that still shot. If so his left arm is like a foot longer than his right arm. Also, does he have a batting glove on one hand cause doesnt seem to have on on his right hand?

Take off your purple colored glasses man. It's an out.
