Has Muschamp or Chavis ever not had a stocked cupboard?

I have no idea why they think he's a defensive mastermind

Any would be fine with me, but Boom has always been a favorite of mine.

I don't know about Chavis' fat arse but I wouldn't say LSU was stacked in '01 when Muschamp got here.

Nice qualifier by putting "As a DC" at the end.
He was not doing well on his way out of Texas, and our recruiting class was going take a whole lot of suck if he wasn't fired posthaste.
Look, celebrate your mediocre hire all you want, but the guy is not a master defensive coordinator. He's average, with an explosive temper and a knack for leaving programs that hired him crumbling in his wake.

None of those. Whoever LSU hires... because they will be the best.

It's not just a little different -- he even had help with the defense but couldn't stop a division II offense.
I'm sorry you're not getting the "he's the best defensive mind in college football" bullshite you thought you'd get from contemporaneous sources, but you can stop lying to yourself now.

The last two programs Muschamp has left are in the shitter. Hopeful he can continue the trend at Auburn.
This made me laugh...

I'd actually take Robb Smith. Imagine what he could do with talent at a program like LSU or Bama.
