Damn. I figured the man would have come up with SOMETHING there by now. They just getting worse against the run.
When Miles hired Steele after Chavis bailed, that was a dark day and it obviously didn't work out, but we are SOOOOOOO much better off now with Chavis gone.

I try to stay out of the LSU - A&M shite show, but the A&M defense is a complete charlie foxtrot. The recruiting and talent is there but the back 7 looks lost half the time. The offense isn't much better.

He had the benefit of coming in after the Mallvetto disaster and he also worked for a HC that actually instilled some toughness unlike Sumlin.

Today teams need the offense to carry the game. Why he left lsu. Difficult to build the depth, and talent bama has to have the old school "defense wins games" only mentality.

Lol at the talent is there. How can someone with half a brain think that. Have you watched their defense since Sumlin got there. They recruit skill players that's it. And run off 5 star qbs.

It's a damn shame what Miles allowed Chavis and Brick to do to D Line and LB recruiting, and Studs on the O Line. That is the biggest reason LSU has taken a back seat the last 5 seasons. They all got lazy and complacent and stopped bringing the talent and the numbers to field great lines.
