Baw, since the Millenium (2000) season LSU is 9-8 versus Bama, including the 2003-2007 stretch where LSU won five years in a row. I know the overall record, but we ain't afraid of Bama. Neither is Ole Miss. Win or lose, ya'll gonna find that out on Nov 5th.

I will correct you in the interests of your own education. The 21st Century began on January 1st, 2001. Not on New Year's Day 2000, but, rather, New Year's Day 2001.

LSU doesn't need to beat Alabama every year in football. Once every five years would be fine IF THEY COULD PARLAY THAT WIN INTO A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. I believe that THIS is the correct mental approach to the problem for LSU and for the rest of the SEC.

I have a better chance of coaching at LSU than Charlie Strong.
He might make a good LB coach, but that's as far as he'll get in BR!

More realistic is that Charlie Strong should be a candidate for Purdue, should Texas get rid of him.

Firing Miles to get Strong is the 2nd dumbest idea I have ever heard of.

Right after the idea of firing Miles to hire Orgeron as permanent head coach.

Resume wise Herman is basically an offensive-specialist version of Charlie Strong. Even if LSU does get Herman they could easily be in the same situation Texas is in right now in a couple of years (minus the a-hole boosters at least).

A lot of this may be put out by University of Texas' media manipulation machine to create the image that LSU is a lesser job

LSU may already have their coach so the Horns
can have the guy who cannot beat Navy

Unlike you, I was old enough to drink alcohol on December 31st, 1999, and we were celebrating a new Millenium, Baw...

The win/loss record since 2000 is fact, not sure what the rest of your comments are for, as nothing in my prior post alludes to any expectation of winning a Natty every year.

We know Bama has a great team, we respect them, but it's not about them.

It's about LSU.
