Sure, he is a football coach. But hear me out. He is currently an analyst at Alabama: And he is from Arkansas. Hiring him would be a big FU to both those schools. He has made a lot of connections at all the different schools he has coached at. A LOT of connections. And he interviews well too.

It doesn’t look like anyone else is willing to consider the job. Make the call Kentucky.

It looks like it is going to be him or a computer generated hologram of Adolph Rupp.

Who is actually willing to take the Kentucky basketball head coaching job?

who asked?

Kentucky’s athletic director, and he is running out of people to ask.

How ‘bout Mark Stoops then?

He’s already on the KY payroll, double his salary, and double his duties as a 2 sport head coach.

He’s done a DAMN better overall job at improving the UK Football program in his tenure than Cal did on his watch as BB Coach.

That is a solid idea and one they may have to explore.

LOL. I’ve seen the movie. It ain’t great.
Charlie is a solid dude who tries to install good values and blah blah blah. The problem is that he can’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag.
I knew Texas was screwed when, during his first season as head coach, we kicked off the first half against UCLA in Jerry World… and then also kicked off the second half. He had screwed up the toss somehow. Have never seen anything like it.
Spoiler- we lost by a TD.

As luck would have it…Bill Belichick is totally available and back on the coaching market too.

I’m thinking Billy Napier would look better in KY blue instead on Gator blue. He also prefers being indoors vs outside. We will pay all relocation costs.
