Chuck is Chuck and he is an Auburn man through and through. But Chuck is going to do whatever the hell he wants to do, and that's one of the things that I admire about him even if this is not his best play. Barkley gives zero fricks.
I like him

00-Chuck bravely going into enemy territory and planting the misinformation.

quote:This post reminds me of the time when the 1934 St. Louis Cardinals were playing the Detroit Tigers in the World Series. The 1st game had Dizzy Dean on the mound against Detroit. A couple of hours before the game Detroit was in their clubhouse going over Dean's assortment of pitches and his tendencies in certain situations when the door flew open and in walked Dean. As everybody turned around and froze in their tracks, Dean said, with a big smile on his face, "I figured I'd find you boys here going over my pitching, so I come over to save all y'all a bunch of time by telling you that I ain't throwing nothing but fastballs today!" With that, he turned and walked out of the door!
What are you talking about? He was planting bugs and various spy tech, so we can know all their secret plans. We goin to the SHIP!!!
He shut out Detroit that day.
Moral: It's one thing knowing it, but it's another doing something about it!

Auburn and Bama people are very supportive of each other. It's eerie and annoying but very true
I imagine Chuck's message was about winning at life outside football being an athlete.
I love the rivalry + root against Bama in most games, but I hope every player of theirs uses their awesome opportunity to become improve htemselves/become better people.
Anyone who roots against a kid succeeding in life just because he is on a rival team is a POS.

From what I heard, he talked about the difference in succeeding and in being a success.

how so? Saban recruited him and helped transform him from a slow TE to a dominant DE who made millions in the NFL. If anything, his showing respect, appreciation, and love toward someone who helped him in life is the opposite of traitorous.

You're correct. Tebow actually won titles.

He was giving a talk to Bama players, not Vols.
