My question is...when did you Aubs start getting so excited over recruiting? Just a couple of years ago, you all were satisfied with a bunch of 2 and 3 stars...were gonna turn 'em all into fine Aubie men?

Were you excited about recruiting during the Shula era? We were winning, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.. Our coach duck hunted during during peak recruiting, and nobody cared as long as the wins kept coming.
Now we have a coaching staff, coming off a BCS title win, who recruits extremely well (not to mention it's more publicized now), so what's not to be excited about?
Which leads me to my next point. Why the frick do you care?

Really good IMO. We shall see how it plays out. I think UF has a better class though.

Slim chance. Auburn will have a top-5 class for a good chunk of the year, but a disappointing season combined with the departure of Gus Malzahn and another assistant or two will have some recruits changing their mind at the last minute.

8 win season would be a miracle. I challenge all Auburn fans to go back to 2007 recruiting, yes you still have a couple left in 2007. I challenge you to go through 2007-2010 look at the recruits that you have on roster. 2010 recruits 24 still on roster and 14 never seen the playing field. 14 listed as red shirt freshmen.
