They won't. Saban will make his players go through hell week to prepare...and Bama is good at stopping the run.

I think Arkansas gets beat badly.

Our defense has significantly improved since playing Auburn, but we still lack quality depth. Despite the big penalties against A&M, this is actually a disciplined team that doesn't make many mistakes (12th in fewest penalties per game last year). Take the mistakes away and Arkansas may have beaten A&M by multiple scores.

Our chances depend on the play/coaching of our QB, receivers, kickers and coaches. Allen has only been sacked once this year and needs to acknowledge that (2nd in the nation in sacks allowed).

Having said all that, 30% sounds about right.

Arky is going to jump up and beat a team (maybe two) that they shouldn't this year. We barely avoided it, but State, OM, LSU, and Bama had better take them seriously. I'd put the Hogs chances at about 30%. As stated previously, a Bama loss would be somewhat surprising, but not shocking. I'm hoping for it just for the Phyllis melt.

I think the game will be closer than the last two years.
I would say that is pretty sure, but the Hogs won't snap their SEC losing streak against Bama.

Way to go favorite user name... I agree. Bama will have total focus but they are going against the best 3 yards and a cloud of dust in the country team that has been preparing and waiting for 2 weeks. It ain't going to be a cakewalk... like say the LSU game... for every member of the West Conference. Thank God we have Kentucky out of the east this year... wait... Kentucky beat who??? Crap.

If this (upset) somehow happens...heaven help the next team to play Bama. Saban will feed them gunpowder the rest of the year.

Our only hope is that thay can't stop our run. If they can't i think it'll make them doubt.

Now having said that when is the last time they have not been able to hem somebody up if they want to? A long damn time. This will be are toughest game agin a runstopping D.

But if we can still run...lookout...that changed everything...except Roadgators preference for small Japanese boys. Nothing changes that. Like Roadgator always says on here, "Eight to 80, crippled blind or crazy, I (roadgator) don't turn anything down except little boys, and i turn them face down." His words not mine.

That being said. Go hogs!!!

I really doubt it. Arkansas doesn't match up with Alabama well at all. Somebody said it best earlier when they said this game will really show what's to come for Alabama the rest of the way. If they are sluggish and struggle, it'll be a pretty good sign IMO 2 or 3 more losses will be coming our way because this team hasn't shown a lot of intangible qualities that have made some others so good.

This Alabama team doesn't strike fear into anybody. They just don't have that knockout mentaliity. Seriously, it's unusual to view them as an above average team vs an elite team. The penalties & turnovers are killing them.
I give the Hogs a 50/50 chance.

Alabama has defended the run well thus far but hasn't played anybody nearly as physical as this offense. I think we move the ball on them and score but to win we'll need to be mistake free on defense and get turnovers.

If Alabama didn't just lose I'd say it's possible.
