By administration, you mean Alleva? That guy?

No, LSU's President, The Chancelor, the Govenor, James Carville, and Shaq were also involved.

LSU made every effort imaginable to get that game in and they were denied. Hell, LSU folks tried to open discussions with UF very early in the week while there was plenty of time to make alternate arrangements while the storm was tracking off-shore and UF Admin refused to address it.

Why does it matter they would have had fewer injuries then and likely won by an even greater margin

Is the LSu admin requesting the game be moved to Baton Rouge?

Why would they? The crowd is 95% LSU fans.

That being said, the game could have been played on Sunday or Monday.

plus we are playing at home.
Kinda like the Super Dome in N.O. , the last time L6u fans ran their mouth about a championship game location being a "home game" for them it didn't work out to well.
What's the equivalent in baseball of leaving the stadium in the 4th,? 7th inning stretch mass exodus game 2.?

Why would you keep referring to an event in which you ended up making an @$$ of yourself by accusing the other team of being scared and then your team got served? I mean, I get it if you won or they canceled the game all together.

You realize that it was LSU that was the one crying about the weather and how unsafe it would be for your fans to travel to Gainesville because you're all so scared of hurricanes. Remember?
It's been funny to see y'all try and reverse the narrative though.
This. Times 1000.

Does Alabama even have a baseball program
Posted on 6/26/17 at 6:04 pm to Merlin08
Yes. They own the head to head record against LSU. Just like football and basketball.

He's referring to the administration. This is indisputable. Fans don't any say in these matters.

You're saying your admin was making moves early in the week to try and postpone the game until Sunday or Monday? That's not true. Maybe by Thursday..

And it is not really even close, last I looked at the series record Bama was up 30+ games H2H vs L6u's baseball team.

I'm saying early in the week Alleva was trying to be proactive on either another venue, or to move the game to another day. This is true, it's not opinion. It was widely reported and he was on local radio saying exactly this. Sankey stalled and stalled.
Posted on 6/26/17 at 6:54 pm to Merlin08
How did that work out for you guys?
Posted on 6/26/17 at 7:04 pm to cas4t
I mean, I'll take your word for it, but I've seen nothing and remember nothing about him commenting at all until at least that Wednesday. Early in the week, the storm was somewhere out in the Atlantic and people were watching, but I don't remember anybody already talking about moving or postponing the game. It really doesn't matter.
Posted on 6/26/17 at 7:11 pm to JuiceTerry
I mean, even Wednesday would be very early in the week for a Saturday game. But correct, it doesn't matter. Point is that Alleva was proactive once it was apparent things could get ugly with the storm. Sankey stalled, for whatever reason. Alleva expressed these frustrations with Sankey blatantly on espn Baton Rouge radio.
There really was no harm in playing the game on Sunday or Monday in Gainesville.
