Not that polls are the perfect measure for this, but 05 LSU was definitely the team that finished best in the polls that we've blown out under Richt.
They landed at #6 at the end of that year after absolutely demolishing Miami in the Peach Bowl.
As others have said, if not for a very weird second half collapse against UT (the week of Katrina), LSU's only loss that year was to UGA. It was a damn good team.

I would say AU 06 would be the standard that meets both criteria of a "great team" and a "blowout". That AU team was likely better than 05 LSU, we beat them by more points, and we beat them at their house.
Those were all great games though.
