Do it on the big stage against the best once, there is still room for doubt. Do it on the big stage against the best twice, no question. And I'll be the first to say it.

I already have. If idiots can crown Vince Young as the greatest college football player ever after one game, why not JFF? He can actually pass the football and run with it.

Anyway, moving along....

"Drunken A&M Airport Guy": Will he be attending this little soirée on Saturday?

Wonder what he has up his sleeve Youtube-wise, this season???

Here's what would worry me if I was an A&M fan:

after the 1st quarter blitz, Bama held A&M to 9 points. They started to figure Sumlin's offense out LAST year.

The A&M run defense looks bad against bad teams. That spells doom against Bama.

Bama hasn't lost a road game the last 2 seasons. Your home field advantage won't mean much.

You'd better hope that their offensive line is as bad (or worse) as it looked against VT (who's Dline is better than A&M's). If not, they will run roughshod over the Aggies and if you get behind, that's when you force things and the shite hits the fan. It could get out of hand.

that article focuses on Johnny too much. We'll have two five star RB's and some pretty good talent at WR out there.

Bama is going to have to go 75+ yards every drive. Our kicker sends practically every kick through the endzone on kickoffs. Our punter has downed every punt inside the 20 this year including one from his own 10 yard line. Bama's O is going to have to produce and produce consistently.

Manziel will be good for at least 2 turnovers. Bama wins handedly.

The Bama margin of victory in this game will exceed aTm's point total. 42-20 Bama.

I think the experts need to quit just using the "Bama is going to win because Saban is mad" or because its a revenge game.

They bring up how bad Bama's Oline is, how the Bama D gave up 10 points to VT and how much better A&M's Offense is, how Bama's run D didn't look great against an average VT running game, and how they don't know how much better the A&M defense will be with 5 of their top defensive players that haven't played yet back but then act like nothing matters because Saban is mad.

And other prescient picks by CFN include:

Florida 31 - Miami 20
Georgia 34 - Clemson 31
Notre Dame 23 - Michigan 20
Texas 27 - BYU 17

Hope no one is betting their picks!

I'm not by any means calling an Aggie win, but if we so win I hope you do hold yourself to this. I'm going to be furious if we pull the upset and people make excuses.

CFN prediction of Bama/A&M is out

quote:
Two big things: 1. No LSU influence, 2. Payback

So, Bama is the only team with something to prove?

1. JFF is frickING MAD at the bullshite and tired of hearing "fluke" blah blah
2. This is probably the biggest game in modern A&M football history. We win, we are on track for a shot at the title.
3. Kyle against a #1 is at least a 7 point advantage
4. Did I mention that this is the biggest game in modern A&M football history?

We've got MORE incentive to win this game that ANYBODY IN THE NATION would have. This is our shot to change the perception that will linger in your longhorn mind. We have more reason to beat the frick out of Bama than the reverse. Motivation is not a factor.

You really think this is your biggest game in modern history?

If so, thats really sad.

Bigger game to Bama. You are in the way for a possible 3peat.

An interesting angle here is that, given how much credit Saban gets for revenge games and how much people here are slobering on his knob this week, IF Manziel beats him again there is really nothing else to do than to crown him the best college QB ever. If Nick fricking Saban cant stop him with ten months to prepare, how can you argue otherwise? However, we all know that won't happen. The rant will come up with excuses about it really wasn't that impressive after all.

Your 2010 team that was trying to repeat was Nick Saban's most talented team to date (his words, not mine) and lost three games.

It's hard to not get complacent.

Like he was last year?

Going back to the Auburn game last year, Manziel has a total of 3 turnovers in his last 8 games.

He stated a stupid "fact" but what does that have to do with last year? I'm tired of reading Aggies pretending what happened last year matters Saturday.
