Very, very generic, just like the name of the CFB Playoff.
Looks like an Olympic torch.
I'm not 100% sure the crystal football trophy doesn't exist anymore. It just won't be presented on the field after the championship game, this one will be.
I think the crystal football still exists for the coaches poll and might us the one of the many other trophies a school receives, but just not immediately on the field during the presentation.

That trophy is dogshit. Would not put in our trophy case.
But seriously how can you drink out of that thing, the better be what the opening at the top is. Should produce a smoother, richer pour.
