This is what they tweeted.

The upshot of why Alabama football is doomed in the new NIL model - number of billionaires living in each state:
Alabama - 0
Ohio - 7
Georgia - 18
Texas - 73
Florida - 78
California - 186

And this won't increase parity. It just means a handful of schools will dominate even more.

How does this explain LSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn's recruiting success?

And as was discussed in the original 3 page thread about that, it is a pretty silly way to measure these sorts of things.

1 of Georgia's 18 billionaires is a Georgia grad (and he's also a Tech grad). More of them are Samford grads than Georgia grads.

Bama can never compete with certain states when it comes to NIL regardless of the donors but that's not the reason why most kids chose Bama in the first place. The biggest thing that matters is if you can put these players in the NFL so they can make greater money in the long run.

Louisiana has a billionaire.

Shut your poor arse up.

Hopefully, the owners of the Bama trailer parks can pool some money together to buy a 3 star linebacker.

I don’t think most those billionaires care about college football. But they are going by the state they live in. Some alumni live out of state. For example apple Ceo Tim Cook.

Then y'all got a problem.

Bama didn't put them in the NFL, Saban did.

Bama now has to prove they can do that without Saban. LSU did.

CEO of Apple has Auburn Football in his twitter bio. I'm sure it'll be fine.

Yes, only the rich will get the best talent. That's why coaching is more important these days. Deboer will be a good coach.

The premise that you need billionaires or that the average billionaire gives a shite about football is why those stats are dumb.

Lots more non billionaires down South who very much care about football.

California, not so much.
Oregon has one really famous Uncle Phil though.

Stanford has the most billionaires out of P5 schools and it’s not helping them much. Miami and So cal has 29 billionaires. USC recruiting sucks

If the University of Washington wanted to outbid Bama for DeBoer they could have. But, I agree it's about how important is college football to you.

So, USC, UCLA and Stanford should be at the top of the leaderboard, right? right?

Or Because Tim Cook is an Auburn grad who doesn't give a damn about football, if it's not playing hide the sausage.

I should have expected more from you but the total # of billionaires is irrelevant.

The Cali billionaires don't care about football and the Florida billionaires are a combination of drug dealers and American fraudsters who are actually broke.
