To be fair, OU plays OOC games against Houston and Ohio State. If they do make it through their schedule with one loss or better, they'll have played a playoff worthy schedule, imo. I just don't think they'll get it done.
Also ND in the playoff ain't happening.

Our OOC features two top 10 teams early in the season and we play home and away. Yours features an over-rated has been at a neutral site and western kentucky.

Not seeing FSU in the Orange Bowl when their starting QB ran the 70 yr old Wing-T offense in HS and nobody recruited him. Yes I know they're loaded. No I don't understand why they recruited McGuire to play there at all.

Yeah pretty much this. We'd love to play them again, don't get me wrong. But we did this just a year ago.
If the Texas Bowl is going to match the Whorns against an SEC team this year then they would move heaven and earth to get Texas vs Texas A&M.
Right now my dream opponent, who we will not get, would be Michigan after they rabbited out of our series and left us scrambling to find a replacement for them.

To be fair though WKU plays in the Conference USA which is better than whatever the conference OU plays in.

There is no doubt they went for the best matchup they could find in their neck of the woods. But they still left us hanging without much warning.
Or, to put it this way, if they did this to Georgia you'd bitching and moaning up a storm and peeing your pants over it all.
