Think I'd put OU above LSU and probably Tennessee, but thats assuming Arnold will be as good as I think he will be with a full offseason of work.

The frick you talking bout? This is where the majority are putting us with some putting OU ahead. Recycle that bs bc as they say if you repeat a lie long enough…

I guess picking your team to finish 6th in the conference is "winning the offseason" now?

"Keep an eye on Tennessee's defense; it's quietly gotten better every year under Josh Heupel. With a deep rotation along the line and an edge rusher like James Pearce Jr. wreaking havoc in opposing backfields, this group might take its biggest leap yet."

I've been telling all of you clowns what's coming. A 2022 level Tennessee offense with a top 15 to 20 defense anchored by a top 5 dline. Don't be shocked when it happens.

We are going to boat race most of the teams on our schedule. UGA is our only real test.

Bama and especially Mizzou will get absolutely folded. Mizzou, get ready for where we left iff in 2022 with you.

Going on the road to Oklahoma will be a very fun game as well.Very excited about this CFB season.

We have the Mizzou game circled. Heupel hung 60 plus both years with Hooker on you. This year we got something special for your weirdo coach.

Very quietly.

Our dline is one of the best in the entire nation. It's the secondary that was holding us back because of Pruitt wrecking our entire roster before he left. We are improving back there though and you will see it this season.

Your front 7 got shite kicked by the 3 best teams you played in the regular season last year. 4.13 YPA rushing, almost 190 yards per game on the ground and 36 ppg against Alabama, Mizzou and Georgia.

But hey, you shut down Virginia, UTSA, UConn and Vanderbilt, so there's that I guess.

You truly live in a fantasy world.

Huepel will expose the defense with TOP or lack thereof. He has no plan but to score as quickly as possible or the viles are in deep trouble.

36 ppg is because our secondary was still lacking.

And our dline harassed Hurts all game last year and they only got 138 on the ground despite having a QB who can run like a deer and their usual NFL personnel.

Top 8 team with sacks.

You need to actually watch our games instead of just cherry picking stats.

You can say our defense was bad last year and I'd agree with you overall, but certainly not our dline. Our dline is very aggressive and talented and last year featured a few future NFL starters and will be no slouch this year as well.

That’s good. You’ll need to score more than 7.
Also not aware we play.

I'm sorry, this is the part where you tell us based on absolutely nothing that your secondary is going to somehow be a ton better with brand new personel?

Alabama ran the ball down Tennessee's throat in the 2nd half. Absolutely manhandled them. 24 rushes for 135 yards in a half. With a team that rarely manhandled anybody on the ground.

Everybody watched your games against good teams. Your defense, including your front, got punched in the mouth. Schrader ran for 205 yards against you. Georgia did whatever they wanted against you for 3 quarters until they pulled their starters. Alabama scored 20 offensive points in the 2nd half and ran for almost 140 yards.

Your defense was a paper tiger. They shut down shitty, one dimensional offenses (Virginia, South Carolina, A&M, UConn, Iowa) and got railroaded by good ones.

Tennessee's offense is set on skill positions, and looking good at the OL starters...OL depth is the area where there could be concern. D-Line looks good as well...but anytime Willie Martinez is your secondary coach, there is reason for concern.

Typical Tenner fan and an example of why they are seen as the worst on the Rant. Mizzou and Yennessee do not even you know, are NOT scheduled to play this year. Also how many rushing yards to Schrader put on that vaulted D last year?

This is a lazy take. The transfers are only new starters at Oklahoma and Jacob Sexton started the last 5 or 6 games last year at one of the tackle spots and did well. The sooners also grabbed a veteran C out of the portal in Branson Hickman from SMU. Jake Taylor sat out last year recovering from injury but he played some good ball in 2022. Not to mention that Bill B is probably a top 3 OL coach in the NCAA. His track record of development is unquestionable.

OU also pulled in an awesome OL class in recruiting, but I don't expect any of them to be needed this year barring multiple injuries.

I agree that the OL is an area to watch but it's not as dire as the article paints it.

Georgia's talent creates very few surprises.

The shorthorns, not so much. This is a big reach at 2.

Texas could lose a few games this year. I'm realistic about things. Still, to imply that there is a huge talent gap between UGA and Texas is intellectually dishonest.

Yeah, we'll see how Arnold does. I have high hopes but am cautious until I see it on the field. I am really hoping that Littrell will be better at TOP and will have a better feel for the flow of the game. I always felt like Lebby was in his own world just trying to go fast. He improved a little last year, but it still felt like he was trying too hard to scheme and rush the offense. Often it seemed that execution suffered as a result.

It would appear that the thinking here is the OU line meshing as a group rather than any specific issues with talent (or lack thereof).

I don't think that is an unfair opinion given that other teams have most of their O lines returning. Can OU's line develop "chemistry" quickly is the issue.
