I say 3 losses +/-1 is reasonable. They obviously have talent and depth, but replacing AJ, CJ, and other losses will be a challenge. Their schedule is tougher than last season's, but they set up nicely in the east. If Malzahn pulls another win....going to get interesting indeed.

I'd be shocked. The only problems I see is 1)Can Saban solve the HUNH satisfactorily and 2)Can Kiffin develop a QB. Even if both are a no, the roster still has 4 years of #1 classes I think so I'd be pretty surprised at 4 losses.

I've never understood how a team in the same division as Alabama can complain about scheduling.

Teams in the same division play almost identical schedules with the exception of 1 cross divisional game.

Regardless, realistically Bama will lose 1-2, best case is run the table, worst case 3.

Alabama has more NFL talent on their roster than every team they will face. Mike Shula would be hard pressed to go 4-4 in the SEC with that.

Miles has never raped a Saban-coached team.
As a matter of fact, Miles hasn't beaten Saban's Alabama by more than 7 points.
Saban has 3 9+ point victories over Les Miles.

Miles couldn't rape Alabama with his best team ever (2011), and he couldn't do it last year with his most explosive offense ever.

1 of these is not like the others, and how do expect to go from 2 52-0 beatings to a victory? Bobby Petrino's teams didn't have much scoring success versus Alabama, and I don't see a pro-style offense with inferior athletes and coaching doing any better.

And what 4 games is Bama supposed to lose? UF and Auburn we have at home, LSU lost a bunch too and A&M won't have Manziel and Evans.

Will LSU score more than 17 this season?

Didn't Nuss commandeer one of (if not) the most productive bama offense in history?

Can't look at numbers. Any decent coach could put up numbers with that roster.it has to do with situational stuff. (A&M, first and goal at six & throw it 3 times, auburn 2nd and one, run three times up the middle with a banged up Yeldon, oj Howard with only 20 catches when he should be a primary target with matchup advantages )
