No, I think he was told by Dye and others to buy thier success. Chizik may just be the puppet and the others are pulling the strings.

It would be a cruel joke if all this is true and the shite hits the fan a week before the NC....the NCAA, SEC, and Auburn would look sooo bad and the NC game would be way overshadowed.

LSU self reported and self imposed something Auburn would never in a million years do. Auburn will always do whatever they can get away with to compete with Bama. It would appear to me they have gotten away with it this time. Those boosters that bought Cam and the other players are very good at hiding money. And the NCAA is so greedy it just closed it's eyes and said we don't see anything.

And then they will do like other programs who go on probation (Alabama, USC). Reward their fans and players by schedulling a game in Hawaii to be their pseudo-bowl game for the year.

You missed it....they already declared him ineligible(even though his eligibility was never in trouble), and then applied for reinstatement of his eligibility(even though it was never in trouble). No need for self-imposed sanctions. His eligibility has never been in trouble
