It's a tough spot. I think we would all agree A&M is better than Texas, but if Texas beat them in a bowl it would undo their entire season. And the hell they would have to live with would be...hell.

Then why not embarrass them on the field with a national audience? You aggies need to toughen up realize what conference you're playing in now. SEC teams don't take their ball and go home, they take the opponents ball then punch em in the throat and dare them to get back up.

I would like to see A&M vs UT in the cotton. Would be entertaining and a must watch game that A&M SHOULD win big.
However, if I was A&M I would not want it either. Not much to gain and could be embarrassing if UT won.
A bowl game is a lot different than the regular season a lot of the time. The team that is more motivated usually wins in the bowls and UT would have a lot more to prove IMO. Plus if Manziel wins the heisman, he would have huge target on him and I think the layoff between the regular season and bowl hurts A&M a LOT more. Their timing on offense would not be as good as it is right now at all.

Very little upside. We have all the momentum in the state right now. There's only one thing that can slow this freight train down right now. They don't want to play us either.
