Rece doing SEC play-by-play. Then they let him do NCAA Basketball and be the front man for the NCAA Tournament. Then give him a nice spot at Augusta for Masters Coverage.
Would beat the Hell out of doing College Football Final at 2am in the morning.

I think Verne was seriously injured when that TV tower fell on the final day of the Tour Championship a few years ago. I don't think he's been the same since.

Well, he *IS* in contract negotiations. I'm not so sure the rest of his family hopes we see more of him, though. :-)

Not too many like Verne left. He is one of the best and will be missed.
