Now that you mention it, I don't see a Serraneaux game thread anywhere

He knew we were done after yesterday. We pretty much have 1 pitcher, and we used him on Friday

Is it figure out a way to make a regional or you're not getting a new contract for Serrano?

I don't know. I just don't see him being retained, either way.
I don't think we'll ever have a good baseball team

Y'all have never been big into baseball. My question is why?

At one time Tennessee was actually very good at baseball

It's just never been a priority. Our softball teams draw bigger crowds.

Would not say that. I think they been to Omaha and had some big players that were in the bigs. I think they currently have a shitty AD that is tearing apart their athletic program.
They do have a decent baseball stadium.

I think the Vols have probably had a similar view to ours regarding baseball. Football has been king at UT the way basketball has been at UK.

For a couple years, yeah. But overall, we're below average

I mean our fan base isn't really any different as far as baseball fanaticism goes. I think most people here just prefer to follow the Reds (Braves closer to Tennessee and Cards closer to Missouri.)
We also have a very nice stadium for the Royals Single A affiliate Lexington Legends, much like the Smokies in Knoxville.
Is it just that? More people just care about the Braves, and can enjoy a cheap evening out watching Double A ball?

Hell, our semi-pro hockey team is 100x more popular than our baseball team.

Had no idea y'all had one. We used to back in the 90's. Kentucky Thoroughblades

T Blades were AHL (step below NHL)
Ice Bears are ECHL I think, a further step down like old Stingers and River Frogs.

and I don't understand it. Delmonico was a damn good coach and brought y'all to Omaha but then kind of fizzled and y'all canned him. since then, it's been a rough road for UT baseball.
at one time I had a personal interest in your program. I thought they needed a new park and something to get more fans out. good luck.
