THis is one of those "cross your fingers and hope shite goes right" games for UF. I don't know who wins but I hope UF can pull it out.
My sentiments exactly.

SC wins easily IMO, like LSU should've had the line blocked as well as they did the last game.

I like how some LSU fans continue to give UF no credit for actually taking it to LSU and winning the game and just say, "oh, well if we had played like we should have LSU would have won."

You win out, Bama win out, then we can have the rematch of the SEC-CG as the BCS-NCG. You can then hear the LSU fans tell you how much better the Cotton Bowl is than the BCS-NCG...

what? I have posted twice that we couldn't stop the read option and it killed our defense.

Your obsession with LSU and constant trolling is getting old. It may be time for a post quality review and subsequent time in time-out
As for the game, if we can run all over USC then I see no reason why Florida can't do the same. I'm going 24-16 Gators

I said SOME LSU fans. Specifically the guy that posted right above me.
Your post was fine. Although Florida did a fair amount of straight ahead running that day as well, it wasn't all read option.

Either team can win this game. It will be a great game with two good teams battling it out. It will be a great game to watch for all CFB fans, regardless of who wins.

We did play like shite though

The fly in the ointment defending UF is Driskel, he is the wild card and continues to break big plays every single game. He will break loose on passing plays and cause USC fits aqnd his sideline to sideline running will wear the Cocks out.
But there are some smart posters on this board that recognize that UF punter Christy nailed their coffin shut tight with booming punts and everytime LSU started a possession it was backed up inside the 15 yd line and usually inside the 10 yd line and their gameplan went out the window.
Both teams are fairly equal and special teams usually is the deciding factor....if thats the case the chickens dont wanna see replays of our Vandy game where special teams killed VU. Our FG kicker is pure money at 50 yds and our punter is killing it.
In my opinion....which is slightly biased, Cocks go limp in the Swamp, Boom is too intense.

SC used up a lot of mojo in the home blowout of UGA and are now deflated after an exhausting game @ LSU. The question is can SC get up for 3 big games in a row? I don't think so. Boom will be reminding his team of the beating they took from SC the last time these 2 teams played in the Swamp. Florida also lost to the Cocks in Columbia last season so this would be another 3 in a row vs a major rival for Spurrier; Muschamp will be reminding his team of that also. This will definitely be a revenge game for Florida and another disappointing road loss for SC. I like the Gators by about 10 points in this one.

I have heard that the flu is going around the Carolina team. Any truth to this?

I have been hearing the same thing. Luckily it's Wednesday and we got 3 days to get better.

Yes, it will be a great game. Can't wait.
I'm hoping for a similar game as 2010 down in the swamp with the East on the line.

I would give the edge to Florida right now due to a couple of reasons. #1 is that Carolina has been pretty mediocre this season outside of Williams-Brice; they're 2 different teams when at home and when on the road. #2 Is that they're a little beat up right now. Lattimore and a couple of D-linemen are nursing some injuries and might not be 100% going into the game. #3 as stated above, there seems to be a little flu bug going around the team and that may or may not carry over to Saturday. It's difficult to play your best game when you're achy and dehydrated.
Even with all that said, South Carolina is more than capable of coming in and winning in the Swamp. I think UF pulls out a close one but I wouldn't be surprised if this one goes either way.

The most noticeable difference b/t playing UF and USC was how our O-Line performed against the respective D-Lines. Using that test, huge advantage to UF. H
owever, I also think LSU simply played much better against USC, and were able to feed off the crowd, while the exact opposite happened at UF.
This one could really go either way, so I'll take the home team given how fired up the crowd will be.

LSU shut down Florida, but eventually the defense wore out due to being on the field the whole game. Driskel still isn't there. He is close, but I think next year will be his year. Clowney and company are going to have a field day. Remember LSU dropping passes on 3rd down was their demise against Florida. So I'm pulling the Bama card and saying Florida didn't beat us as much as we beat ourselves. Although after our two linebackers got hurt they did run down our throat and that is something Florida can hang their hat on! South Carolina will play a more balanced offensive game against Florida than LSU's "struggling to find itself" offense did. If I'm wrong then Florida is really legit! P.S. I would rather Florida win because I would rather face them again than The Cocks. Flame Away

Since when did we invite UNC to the SEC?
