Meyer won't suspend him anyway.

no way he plays....asleep at the wheel in the middle of the road at green light...doesn't look good...he needs to be kicked off the team...there will be a drop off no doubt with dunlap out...but more so in passing situations rather than running plays...we should be ok

not fair to the rest of the team and the seniors who have worked their arse off all year for this opportunity

I agree. These players need to consider the team instead of just themselves. Just like last year with Andre getting suspended before the Sugar Bowl talking to that agent.

Sorry, but you guys are just pulling crap out of your arse. Assuming he is actually charged and convicted with a DUI (and based on that article, I don't see how he could possibly avoid it) I can promise you, he won't play. If we win in Atlanta, he won't play in the BCS game either.

Not sure why you think Urban Meyer lets bad behavior slide... he doesn't. He is quite strict. Remember Cam Newton? UM kicked him off the team for stealing a laptop... which is a lot less serious than a DUI.

WTF could you possibly be thinking when you are one of the most important players on our defense the night before our hardest and most important practice of the week leading up to one of the biggest games in UF history?

I just don't get it.

Mostly just extreme disappointment. You can see on our forums LINK that the vast majority of our fans are stunned, but want to see him punished for what he has done.

If he refused the breath test, how do we know he was drunk?

You should always be polite. Regardless of whether or not you've had anything to drink -- rudeness and refusal can come across as guilt. Especially in cases of SFST, the officer will have to use his or her judgment to determine probable cause -- it's best not to give any reason for doubt.

You have the right to refuse a breathalyzer test, however, under Florida law; refusal will result in a one-year license suspension for a first time refusal LINK

There is absolutely no doubt that Dunlap will be suspended for the SECCG.

So, you're saying he'll be suspended for pregame festivities.

Ha ha. No, he's out for the entire game. There is no way Meyer will allow him to play in this game. No way.

I have no evidence in Meyer's history that he has the balls to man up and do the right thing. Dunlap will be playing on Saturday.
