You can't have it both ways. Either Bert sucks because Wisconsin played bad teams in the Big 10 or Aranda's overrated because Wisconsin played bad teams.

Aranda's D didn't impress against Bama, Outside of Ole Miss Arkansas had Bama's number for 3 quarters.

Most of the Arky fanbase respect Aranda and he's probably a good hire but the saviour you need he's not.

And there it is.

I tend to think that both Wisky coaches will prove overrated, but we will see. I'm amazed at the level of hate LSU fans seem to have for their coaches. First Chavous and now Steele. Let's not forget the permanent dislike of Miles.

He got to coach against those dynamic explosive offensives of the big ten that were stacked w/ so much speed and 5 star talent. Doubt anyone scores on LSU next year unless Les feels sorry for someone.

woah. pump the breaks. we heard all year long from the gumps about how wisconsin had one of the best defenses in the country.

to be fair.. this season.. wisconsin faced absolutely no one worth mentioning outside of bama. they played the weakest schedule i've ever seen a power conference team play in my life.

The only reason our defense wasn't a complete, utter disaster last year was due to the athletes we have on the field.

Why do I bother to correct bull shite about LSU? Because I live here, follow the tigers, and BS beliefs make it almost impossible to talk about the team intelligently....

No, "our defense ... was not due to the athletes..." Actually LSU's defense was modest because it didn't have the athletes. It had only one SEC level LB, the DL was limited 3 players who were serviceable, not one of whom would have started for Alabama, Ole Miss or Arky. The DEs were all brand new, no experience. The secondary which was supposed to be excellent, turned out to have a collective bad attitude and sometimes looked like they didn't even try.

In retrospect, the defense did better than expected given the personnel holes. So next year, what will the new coordinator do to return to the days of 2011? Unless some reinforcements from JC arrive, he will do the same thing as was done this year...try multiple ways to disguise personnel weakness. How he can play a true 3-4 with no returning SEC quality DL, no LBs, is going to be interesting to watch.

Now that I think about it, there are not that many of my LSU friends who can recognize much about what a defense is trying to do. Probably wasting my time.

You absolutely did not watch LSU this season besides the Bama game.

THere is literally nothing true about the paragraphs of text you just typed out. I don't know why you waste your time posting on LSU when you literally know nothing about the program

Bama fans propped Wisconsin D up all year as an example of a very. Good defense they faced.

So now, I'm confused.

Dude I'm looking at a three deep spreadsheet with all the recruiting stats, and comments from every year of experience for each player.

You pump way too much. Suppose you name the returning LBs for LSU, give us their recruiting rankings... same with returning DLmen, DEs? If you could do it, it would probably show the problem LSU faces next year even before you juxtapose the offensive rosters of the teams they will face.

And for every LB or DL or DE you name, most SEC rosters will have two or three in each of those slots, all of whom were higher rated. Dude, there is not depth, the quality of what is there is less than much of the SEC. The cupboard is bare and the emperor has no clothes. I really want to see what they are going to do next year... perhaps some freshman will prove useful straight out of high school.

You seem to just prefer to spread imaginary talking points about "all those 5-star DBs" "all that talent," "the best OL in the country and it isn't even close," and "Brandon Harris will be in the Heisman conversation..." That makes it hard to take you seriously doesn't it?

I think that's because you are looking at current recruiting classes and you aren't considering any of the junior D-linemen/LB's returning.. And the fact is a majority of them will be returning

Where in the actual frick did I make any of these statements besides "all those 5-star DBs" and "all that talent" which are true btw?
