Can we talk seriously about statistics?

If you compare Offense/Defense/players/etc on
Totals (i.e. total defense): You are a Dinosaur
Per Game (Y/PG, P/PG): You are trying but failing
Per Possession/Play (Yards per play; points per possession) You might be on to something.
