Carl Lawson would be a better comparison to Myles Garrett if we are comparing workouts.

Barnett whipped Garrett in every statistic but who could sack the most FCS QBs.

Barnett had the better college career and will go on to have the better pro career.

Garrett looked his best against the LA Techs and Rice's of the world.

Barnett looked his best against the Alabama's, Florida's, and Georgia's of the world.

That's the difference in the type of players they each are. One steps up on the biggest stage against the best competition and one disappears.

Agreed. He's better than Barnett too.

Times getting trucked by a QB going into the endzone:

Barnett - 1
Garrett - 0

Garrett is clearly the superior athlete but Barnett is known to be sick

Even Auburns Montravius Adams made reference to how sick Barnett was

Carl Lawson:
35 reps
261#
4.61

Since 1999 that's the 3rd most reps for an OLB and 5th most for a DE

Is a 41" vert good? What about a 10'8" broad?

Samaje Perine from OU said Adams is the best defender he's ever played against.

Nah. Auburn's whole basketball team could do that

Should've posted that in OP if you wanted to compare that

1 is a situational player from aTm. The other is an every down player. Gimme Barnett please.

If I need a combine workout video, then give me marshmellow Garrett. If I need an every down football player, give me Barnett.

Garrett- *70% of these sacks are filler sacks against weak non conference teams

Sacks vs Arizona State, UCLA, etc are the same as getting some vs Kentucky, Vandy, down Mizzou, etc.

I also remember when Trevor Knight ran over lightweight Barnett for a TD.

That was hilarious.

No. These teams have played against Barnett every year and know what he does.

He has no heart against elite competition.

He can run fast in a straight line though
