Do you even SEC bro?
The Bear took KENTUCKY to 3 of the 4 early big bowls, the only one he did not take a Kentucky team to was the Rose Bowl as during his tenure the B1G and PAC had locked that bowl up for themselves.
1949 Bear Bryant took Kentucky to the Orange Bowl
1950 Bear Bryant took Kentucky to the Sugar Bowl
1951 Bear Bryant took Kentucky to the Cotton Bowl

Even the Aggies don't sink to that level.
The Bear never took TAMU to a Big 4 bowl so why would they claim one?

Has the MAC or AAC accepted your application to join?

Cubs fan since 2016
Just realized a Missouri guy called out my Cubs fandom. I spent 4 of my childhood years in Grayslake, IL. Watched every game on WGN with antenna then moved to BR and still followed daily on our 13-channel cable. Attended games with my dad and my entire little league team. I remember how stange it was to see Wrigley with lights and night games.
But yeah, you probably know everything being a superior Missourian.

Uh, Bryant won a Sugar Bowl against #1 Oklahoma while at Kentucky and won the SEC. Dumbass.

Hiya Belle. Feels like ages since our paths crossed. How're things in the Bluegrass state?

They brought us the importance of a participation trophy for everyone.

Things may not be so rosy now, but the future looks better in most sports.
Missouri won the SEC East in football two straight years, and has a decent chance to improve in the next few years.
Women's basketball will continue to be competitive. Men's basketball will likely greatly improve because of strong recruiting this year. Also Missouri-Illinois basketball will be very strong next few years, insuring more strong recruiting.
Remember, Missouri can potentially get SEC schools more media coverage in parts of the Mid West.

Bowl games were but exhibitions in the 50s. Sooners played it like a preseason NFL game.
