Palmer is an idiot, he spouts the program notes off his crib cards as though it makes him a genius and gets the call wrong about half of the time, though he might figure out if he sees the replay enough.
He does go against the refs on rare occasion, though last night the refs were horrid and he and musberger seemed clueless about most of it.

He is bad about this. Auburn was on the SEC network like 4 times last year, he repeated the same things in about our team in every single game.

Answer: this college football announcer is a good indicator of how shitty your team is. If your team sucks, he is sure to be there.

Rod Gilmore is very bad. But there are some dudes on Foxsports1 that make him look sound like a pro.

Rod Gilmore is horrible. He spends more time griping and whining about what he would have done if he was coach than calling the game. He harped on the fumbled shotgun snap for what seemed like over 30 minutes. Even as a Bama fan I was like "ok we get it dude."

I wish they would all just shut the frick up sometimes and just call the game but Palmer is by far the worst. He needs to carry his arse back to Canada.

Auburn should really be glad he wasn't calling the game after benching a black QB for a white one. Ware would have made Gus seem like a Klansman by the end of the game.

I think Jones does a fine job as the play-by-play guy. The worst play-by-play announcer, IMO, is Chris Fowler. Ironic, because they give him the biggest games now, but he is horribly boring. As for color, the absolute worst is Matt Millen and it isn't close.

beth mowin is turrible, cant stand to hear her call anything, even womens sports. but hey espn is pushing her just like they're pushing women refs.
