He could have easily wrapped up the QB around his waist but consciously made a decision to go high with his helmet.
he consciously made a decision to let up and not hit him hard too. he could have leveled him. instead he bumped him

Can you provide a clip that actually shows what happened?

First one is textbook targeting! He launched himself into the QB making helmet to helmet contact with the crown of his head. Learn the rules before bitching!

Targeting isn't waved off because you also hit like a girl

which of those hits were unsafe?
Regardless of if they are safe, both of them were textbook targeting. You can't hit QBs in throwing motion / after throw in neck / helmet area. Both plays the LSU player hit QB in neck / helmet area
A well coached team doesn't have these problems

That's like saying that you only stole a candy bar and not the whole box of candy bars from the store.
You still are stealing in both situations, regardless of how much you stole

All 3 of those gifs were absolutely the correct call. You're fricking crazy.

Ed O needs to tell his stellar DC to stop all the damn bumping and attack on defense 'cause that defense got their arse kicked.

if anything msu should have been called for holding on the play

those were both targeting fyi
Not sure why LSU fans seem to think that the rules shouldn't apply to them

The right calls. You might not agree they should be targeting, but if you want to argue that, argue with the NCAA. The refs were only following NCAA rules. That sort of helmet to helmet hit, especially when they're leading with the crown, is a legitimate targeting penalty. The only question here is should, not whether.

Wrong. You can't forcibly hit him in the head or neck and it requires that the player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact.

bumping another player is now being called "not that hard of a hit" and gets you ejected?
You cannot lead with the head and make contact to the facemask / neck / head area with the qb. Its been like 4 years, you should have been able to grasp this at this point.

I don't see a hold in either of those gifs.

You can ask Bama about whether pick play PIs should be called.
You never seethem called, so for consistency it definitely feels like yougot screwed. According to the rule though, pick plays should be PIs
