Since an Alabama school beat Texas A&M

Bama-A&M series history

Bama last beat the Ags 12/1/88

AU-A&M series history

Auburn still looking for its first win against the good guys

Can either team end the drought this season?

For reference: Notable events in 1988

After 8 years and 1.5 million dead the Iran -- Iraq war ends

A new drug Crack appears ( A derivative of Cocaine ) and is increasingly found in US Cities

The Hubble Space Telescope is put into operation

United States Presidential Election 1988 George H. W. Bush (Republican) Defeats Michael Dukakis (Democratic)

Notable songs:

"Need You Tonight," INXS
"Never Gonna Give You Up," Rick Astley
"Sweet Child Of Mine," Guns 'n' Roses

I'd guess most bammer fans weren't even born to see the last bama victory over the Ags

A&M has been trailing in the series record against Alabama for 38 years now.

GTFO. Kick was one of the best albums of the 80s.

Solid response. Both Alabama and AU have titles that probably comfort them when they can't sleep thinking about big, bad A&M.

PROTIP: If you convert the time into minutes, it will look even more impressive. The drawback is that it will still be just as intellectually dishonest.

No. The Alabama schools have no chance and the curse will continue.

Better question: Can anyone break the state of Alabama winning the national championship curse? When's the last time the crystal ball left out of this glorious, and magnificent, state?
