Does everybody think TAM can just reload their OL after losing their two best tackles to the NFL?

They also lose their best DE to the NFL. All three projected to go in the first round by many mock drafts.

Bama and LSU usually can reload, but I am not sure the Aggies are loaded with that much talent just yet.

I expect it will take them a few years before they can begin to match Bama and LSU with depth of talent.

Johnny Manziel might be destined for the double whammy Heisman/Sophomore jinx for more reasons than he or his offensive line can deal with in the SEC--just asking.

Some TAMU posters think that both Joeckel and Matthews return.

Here's the question: When at least one of them DOESN'T declare, then what are you going to do?

Pretty much all pundits have Joeckel going Top 10, so I assume he's gone no matter what. On the other hand, some mock drafts have Matthews as a first rounder whereas others don't have him listed, so I'm guessing his status is still up in the air.

Matthews is 100% coming back. That has come from Bruce's mouth (the father).

Bruce also has been saying that Joeckel is coming back. I have a hard time wrapping my head around Joeckel coming back since he's projected from 1st pick to 6th pick, but stranger things have happened. Others close to the program are saying he's leaning to coming back as well. Head scratcher for sure.

Honestly, unless he's financially secure, it wouldn't be a good move, IMO. It'd be hard for him to improve his stock any more in a year.

Returning after being projected in the first or second round would be tough for any offensive linemen.

Either way, I guess we will put our pass rush on high alert next year.

Probably force Manzere into multiple turnovers. Stuff your run game. Walk out of Death Valley with a 17 point win.

I think the bigger question is "can LSU replace the losses of Logan, Mingo, and Montgomery next year?"

There are some things more important than money - like kicking some Swamp Kitty arse and going for a national championship.

THOSE are 2 GREAT reasons for coming back.

Money is not an issue for the Joeckels from what I know. Still can't believe he would come back. I think Matthews comes back and Joeckel leaves

Matthews returning is big, but that still leaves A&m replacing two key starters on the OL. If both leave Then the Aggies will lose 3-4 games. With Matthews, 2-3 tops.

My question is What does Sumlin reload with? These guys were recruited and developed by the previous coach for the most part.

Also can Sumlin replace his OC in addition to these players...

Yes they are for a couple of pootheads like you and me but lay a check on the table with 6-7 zeros on it on the table and see what choice a 21 yr old will make.

You've reclaimed your spot above State. The big boys are talking championships. Move along.

A little more concerned with the potential losses on the defensive side for LSU. Could not care less about atm
