So, Tennessee hired an OC to do nothing and just "not screw it up"?

And in those two years, they won 7 more games and two more bowl games than UT has with Butch

So you're comparing Franklin's record in years 2 and 3 to Jones' record in years 1 and 2?

Makes sense, bro. AR-BI-TRAR-Y

frick out of here. You post like your the age of his national championship ring.

I never tried to bring UGA into the conversation. I merely pointed out the lunacy at thinking that 1.) the new OC's ring has any relevance 18 years later and 2.) that he had somehow "made" Tom Brady.

But keep on deflecting; I know it's a Rocky Top strong suit after 7 years of ineptitude.

In which case why not just promote Azzanni and hire a younger, more relevant-to-the-times QB coach.

Didn't Franklin win 9 games in his second year?

Ok lets compare.

Year 1:
Franklin went 6-7 with a bowl appearance
Butch went 5-7

Year 2:
Franklin went 9-4 with a bowl win
Butch went 7-6 with a bowl win

Seems like it's easier to win at Vandy than UT right now.

By that criteria, I guess Franklin was better than Freeze, too.

I thought LSU won the regular season and the Tourney in '09. Did I get that wrong?

ETA...after looking it up, they had the same record as LSU, but LSU was the #1 seed in the tourney.

You're getting called out because you're in close to every UT thread saturating us with your menstruation at extremely high levels. Saddle up and take your tampon out prior to posting shite like this in every UT thread and you won't be called out.

Phillip Fulmer. Maybe you should beg him back.

It took everything you had not to get beat by Justin fricking Worley and Willie Martinez the past 2 years. Looking forward to the game this year

You do have a point...Fulmer did win his first 9 games against UGA as an OC/HC.

Where is Franklin at right now?

What was Vanderbilt's record last year? What was Tennessee's?

What is Vanderbilt projected to do "right now" -- What about Tennessee?

You'll have to forgive us for not salvating over VU's 2 year blip on the chart. We'll gladly take the other "98".. haha..get it.. cuz we won in 98.. frick out of here.

Nice misleading thread title. You didn't mention the fact he also administered field hockey, the single most brutal sport known to man. And woman. Mostly woman.

Also...Hockey. Michigan had 8 Olympians in Sochi (the only Olympics while DeBord was there). Three Hockey players and the rest were skaters. Schools who brought home the most medals in Sochi:

Minnesota - 5 (0 gold, 5 silver, 0 bronze)
Westminster College - 5 (3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze)
Michigan - 4 (2 gold, 0 silver, 1 bronze)
Wisconsin - 4 (0 gold, 4 silver, 0 bronze)
Harvard - 4 (0 gold, 4 silver, 0 bronze)

So, they did pretty well, relatively speaking, with DeBord running the program. Only Westminster brought back more Gold than Michigan.

Based on the posts from UTk fans here I thought Vols already beat Arky in the Championship game...
