You haven’t seen either QB play this year have you?
They have the same stats but Milton has a running game and a defense.

Uh, no. Heupel's offense is sputtering.

He adapted to a dominant rushing game. Why did people believe that Heupels O was a one trick pony? He adapts to his roster better than anyone in the game today.

More like he has no choice but to run it with Milton’s “arm talent”

Well he didn’t play well to be sure. And I also got the sense that Heupel thought we could win the game without taking too many risks in the passing game

Several posters have written this and none have explained why UT doesn’t match up well against Bama

Because if you look at the teams that have beaten Alabama, it is teams with good QBs making clutch plays in the fourth quarter.

If you look at last week, what made it a close game was K.J. Jefferson making a couple of outrageous second half plays all on his own. Hendon Hooker and your receiver won last years game. Jayden Daniels is why LSU won last year. This year, Quinn Ewers made several perfect clutch throws in the 4th quarter to win the Alabama game. Really good quarterback play is what beats Alabama.

People don’t think Joe Milton is that guy, the guy that can carry the whole offense on his shoulders.

Bazoka joe has been a flop for us so far
Until the coaches have been saving plays which I doubt

Good points.

Milton and our receivers will need to have the game of their lives to win this one imho. The offense has been sputtering all season. Inaccuracy and dropped passes has not helped the situation.

Can? Yes

Will we? Yes, unless Milton fricks it up

If we had a good QB, we would easily be the best team in the nation this year.

And here's something that really pisses me off:

If Nico is what he's billed as and had he been the starter since day one, he would definitely be considered a decent college QB by now this many games into the season.

Instead we are stuck with literally the worst P5 starting QB in the nation.

Heupel is an idiot.

So let's get this straight, Heupel sees this guy in practice every day.

You've never seen him play.

Yet Heupel is the idiot because he doesn't play him.
