12 games to go, it appears that MSU will be the SEC leader or co-leader.

Auburn goes to Starkville next week
At A&M
At Georgia
close out at home against LSU

New coach that came in late, Losing 12 off last years team, nine to injury and two to idiocy has caused MSU to not even be able to field a complete travel roster.

Hell, an outfielder that hadn't pitched since high school got the win last night.

This might be one of the great coaching jobs in SEC history.

Arky has the easiest path and the tiebreaker, but it is possible.

Tiebreaker only matters for seeding in the SEC tourney. It would be a shared title.

Kentucky's head coach is doing a better job. First year as head coach there and he could win the SEC.

Winning a shared division title and not playing in the championship game & being co champ is not the same thing. You absolutely hang a banner for that and you'd probably hang one for a shared division one too.

What you think Cannizaro is doing? 1st year as an head coach. I believe he is only in 3rd year in coaching period.

True but you can't discredit him for that. Auburn, Kentucky, and State are doing well and all 3 coaches have been under John Cohen. That's impressive.

State fans hatred of Ole Miss's 2003 western division co-championship in football and 2009 SEC overall co-championship in baseball has backed them into a corner when it comes to hanging their own banner...but they are probably gonna win it outright this season anyway. them frickers are good

I'd argue that Butch has done the best job. His situation was the worst.

I'm excited to see Thompson and Mize pitch against Rooks and the rest of y'alls bats.

But I would be concerned if I was a State fan after struggling all 3 games against Bama.

You make an agreement for any of those 3 but State can't even complete a roster and has used 3 position players to pitch.

I really, really like Andy as a coach. Sure hope LSU can convince him to come back...soon.

The fact that the three coaches that are being bandied about were all Cohen hires is impressive.

100% hang a shared conference championship banner. Still champions. Co division champs is kind of bush league but he'll if we got one in football I'd hang that shite
