You'd think they'd give us a little credit for preventing Texas from widening their gap in National Championships. At least we know they were cheering for us at the time.

Sure sure. Within each fanbase there is a multitude of personalities. With a large fan base the possibilities encompass almost every personality. I would never label an entire fanbase as one thing with certainty. I always use qualifiers.
With that said, fanbases do get reputations for a reason. Not because every fan is that way, but because the overall fanbase has a certain attitude or traits that comes from a shared experience.
