He refused to acknowledge the protestors. That's why he's out of a job. Right or wrong. Had he even taken the minimal course of action here it likely never gets to this point.

He didn't present the type of leadership that some of the African-American students wanted to see at their university. So, they protested in a multitude of ways to show their lack of confidence in him. Their protests were very effective and the university was forced to respond accordingly.

There were some issues on campus that students considered to be racist. The issues were brought to the University President and he basically sat on it, did not take action or did not the action fast enough. SGA President is a young black man who was upset about this and has decided to do a hunger strike. The football team players (some of them) decided to boycott the football program in a show of support for the SGA President.

A lack of action/response to a few racial incidents that had occured lately. Amongst other things.
Again though, his inaction cost him his job. I feel he was railroaded, but it all circles back to what he didn't do.

And it clearly states in Wolfe's contract that shite swasticas are his responsibility. You have to pay attention to the fine print.
