Just as I figured, A&M fans have created some false illusion of an LSU fan melt to make themselves feel better about always losing to LSU.

The day it broke it was embarrassing. I have no reason to troll you about it either nor do I have a rep for trolling. I haven't really kept up with it since.

Who cares, he left for the money, we didn't try to match A&M. Sumlin will be gone to NFL in 2years. Pendergast and Orgeron is a upgrade.

Why don't you just ignore it, rather than trying to prove to everyone that you don't care?

I am grateful for what the Chief did while being a coach at LSU. He is an upgrade for Texas A&M. But he can and will be replaced. Do people think that we will melt down when Les finally leaves? Or Cam?

Too busy watching the five-star LSU commits roll in right now to think about Chavis. It's a great day for LSU fans.

Why would anyone melt over Chavis leaving? I don't even get that suggestion.

If you're not melting over Chavis jumping ship for a division rival, you are delusional about the current trend of your program.

I wonder if the majority of A&M posters still want to fire Sumlin?

So you're suggesting that our program was trending (down) yet we should melt because we won't have the exact same staff? I've been thinking that we needed an overhaul for recruiting purposes and there is NO doubt who was our weakest recruiter. Les wouldn't have ever fired Chavis so this scenario wouldn't have been possible without aTm. We've had several DC's that enhanced/built their reputations at LSU. Pelini and Boom just to name 2. LSU has always had talent and that's why our list of candidates is growing.

What's funny is that aggy's never listed Chavis on their "wish list" while boasting that they would throw a war chest at the top DC's. I saw Boom, Venables, and others... but not Chavis. Now he's the best? He definitely has flaws and no one can argue that he didn't have elite talent to work with. We could continue to trend down...or we could hire a better DC and significantly upgrade our recruiting. TJ didn't seem worried when he committed today.
