Since Texas A&M joined the SEC, they have brought more to the conference than LSU's broke arse could dream of. The only thing LSU has going for it is that it gets to play Alabama in CBS' prime-time game every year. And even I don't understand that anymore. Give Alabama a legit opponent for Christs sake.

Yeah this is not true. At all.
Maybe not at LSU, but that would just make LSU an anomaly. Nationally, and even within the broader region (think outside of Louisiana, Ark, Mississippi), it's behind even women's basketball. I don't really understand how people argue otherwise. Just accept that emphasizing an obscure sport is an odd, but interesting thing that makes LSU what it is. Self awareness.
