That's the first step. The next step is accepting that the refs never screw AU or 'Bama and will screw LSU any possible chance.

Ok, but I am not wearing a purple and yellow shirt.

I'm looking for Auburn to play LSU very tough- just like always.

They are the defending champions- and being 21 Pt underdogs doesn't sit well, I'm sure. LSU will need their A game, because I doubt it'll be easy.

I hope you are right and I am wrong but we do not have any play makers right now. The only two receivers we have that are worth a shite are both hurt. Our QB situation is an abortion and we are not moving the ball. I think we will be lucky to get over 200 yards total offense.

We would need a LSU total meltdown to keep this game close.

And I am a homer.

We accept closet LSU fans into the Brotherhood as well.

Now that you have accepted the "LSU Facts of Football" you shall receive a membership card in the mail in 3 days. If you show even the slightest sign of reason when it comes to SEC officiating in LSU-AU or LSU-Bama games your membership will be revoked.

I still remember exactly how I felt watching that game. So frustrated and hopeless. We got beat. Straight up. No excuses.

There are two obvious differences this year though:

1. NO Cam Newton
2. We have a better offense.

Our improved offense will help control the clock this year and our defense won't be on the field as long as it was last year. There were several times in the game last year where Auburn would drive it down the field with a high ToP drive. Then, our offense would step on the field and go 3 and out (Or maybe get ONE first down.) Then, the defense that lived on the field would have to get right back on.

That's not going to happen this year. I think Chavis / Miles will force the players to watch the film of Auburn just running over us last year as they pleased early on in the week (If not today) and many players will remember that hopeless feeling as well. We won't be overlooking this game.

most certainly

No Cam

I was at the game last year and never went back to my seat after halftime. I smoked cigarettes on the walkway the whole second half.

so frustrating

Over the years, I've learned to keep my mouth shut when it comes to LSU-Auburn.
It's the game where sometimes the impossible happens- in both directions ;-) .

No question this year we look to have the better talent. But- That hasn't always decided this game.

I'm not poor-mouthing, I'm just saying that it may be a competitive game. The 09 game in BR was not the norm.....

I have a very bad feeling that this year will be more like that game though.

If you win because the other team turns it over it doesn't count. Unless you are LSU and playing Oregon then all those turnovers were forced.

I'm beginning to think you are an OK LSU dude...

The question is legit - the context isn't. Buuuuuuuuuuut last year Auburn made LSU look like a high school team. It was soooo bad it shocked me. I can't recall any highly ranked SEC being destroyed on the ground the way Auburn manhandled LSU last year.

That's probably motivation enough for LSU to put Auburn in a coma.
