Highly doubt it. They are way overrated once again.
Right now I'd say LSU and Auburn are the two most overrated teams in the SEC.

Since 2014 State is tied with LSU for 2nd most SEC wins in the West. Auburn is below both schools.

Yet Moo State hasn't actually won the west since they had cheating Jackie Sherrill as their coach

Congrats on about the only time line you would have a winning record against Auburn. Almost any other year and you would be .500 or worse. Usually a lot worse since you losers have only won about 30 percent of your games against Auburn all time

It's year 9 for Mullen do you expect him to rewrite the history books before he arrived too? He took over a dumpster fire from Croom and has surpassed Auburn in SEC win totals the last five years though. I promise you our defense is smelling blood after seeing your QB get sacked eleven times. The only reason you had decent records in recent years is because of Dak Orescott. He leaves and you go back to sucking as much as ever. Auburn also goes back to kicking your arse as much as ever

Your defensive coordinator doesn't matter. Muffin is 1-5 against Auburn without Dak Prescott as his starting quarterback. Soon to be 1-6

State is 11th in the country in total defense, 4th vs the pass and #1 in defensive efficiency. Also ranked #2 overall in team efficiency only behind Oklahoma.
